Terrible and even non-stylish. Its uncomfortable to play these chess. Uneasy mechanic, awkward colors and menu... And we have to pay for this! Just one star. No more.

Easily the best chess app.

Simple and fast. If you just want to play chess this is your app. Ill change to 5 stars once they fix the bug that makes some games to keep appearing as unfinished, and the badge stuck with that number.

Such a beautifully designed chess app. But as far as I can tell further development has been abandon. iOS7 seems to have broke it’s notification functionality and they haven’t bothered to fix it. When someone pays an app I feel the developer owes them a functioning app.

Best looking chess app in the App Store, but I wish I didnt have to use Game Center to play.

The interface for this game is simple and wonderful.

I would upgrade if it tallied my Wins & Losses. It doesnt though. Even though Im only an average player, I love chess & win or lose my W-L ratio is important to me.

Its definitely a beautiful app. But thats about it. Not worth 2.99 just because it looks good.

I love this app, its sleek and easy to manage. I do think it would be awesome to have a one player option where I could just play against a computer.

Simple and clean interface. Needs rank and in game chat. Also would like to see a chess clock. No brainers.

Good news! I emailed the developers and theyre working on an update to address the annoying player issue.

Lovely app which I use all the time, but there isnt much to it.

I only wish that the color selection were really random. When no players are in the pool, I always pick white.

The software misidentifies a stalemate situation. Please, look into it (I sent you an email).

The app is clean and well designed. Amazing and all that, but I think you already know this. I have a few requests before I can give it a 5 star though. 1. Add in leaderboards and achievements. Or perhaps different classes so you can play in the "easy" room or the "pro" room, etc. 2. Maybe add the ability to message your opponent. 3. Add the ability to "nudge" your opponent so you get a notification if there taking too long. 4. Id like to see my stats. How many wins/ losses of course but maybe some other interesting stats would make it more interesting. Which could play into the achievements part. Little awards/badges similar to the nike fuel band app. 5. Maybe theres timed matches as well. So you HAVE to sit there and play it and the game doesnt span out over a week. Im sure all these options would require a menu being created. As long as you still keep your simple "bare minimum button" layout. Overall a great app though. Keep up the good work guys!

stretched view makes a big difference!

I think its the best chess app I have played thus far but I feel it needs a few improvements. 1. Maybe 3 or 4 difficulty levels. 2. The option to be able to time each move or game so games dont take ridiculous amounts of time. 3. A record of how many wins, loses, resigned games, etc etc. 4.

Besides that, its my favorite chess app.
